Stripe Payments

The Stripe integration allows you to request and collect deposits or full payments from couples directly inside proposals. Payment links are embedded in the proposal page — no separate payment requests needed.

Connecting Stripe

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Stripe
  2. Click Connect Stripe account
  3. You will be redirected to Stripe to authorise the connection
  4. Select your Stripe account or create a new one
  5. Return to QuintaGo — the connection is confirmed with your Stripe account name
Note: Stripe integration is currently in beta. It is available on Pro and Signature plans. Contact support if you encounter any issues during setup.

Adding payment to proposals

When building a proposal, add a Payment block from the proposal editor. Configure:

  • Payment type (deposit or full payment)
  • Amount (fixed amount or percentage of total)
  • Due date
  • Currency
  • Description shown to the couple

The couple will see a Stripe-hosted payment button when they open the proposal. After payment, the proposal status updates to Paid and a receipt is emailed to both parties.

Payouts and fees

Payments go directly to your Stripe account. QuintaGo does not hold funds. Stripe fees apply as per your Stripe plan (typically 1.4% + €0.25 for European cards). QuintaGo charges no additional transaction fee.

Refunds

Process refunds directly from your Stripe dashboard at dashboard.stripe.com. QuintaGo will automatically update the proposal status when it receives the refund webhook from Stripe.

Testing payments

Use Stripe test mode to verify your integration before going live. Switch to test mode in Settings → Integrations → Stripe → Use test mode. Stripe test card:
